A Mechanicsville man is facing multiple charges in Maryland after violating a protective order three times in the course of four days, leading to his arrest, the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office announced on Thursday, July 21.
First, on Saturday, July 16, deputies responded to the 40000 block of Old Horse Landing Road in Mechanicsville, where there was a reported protective order violation, officials said.
Further investigation determined that Michael Robert Guy, 44, was in violation of a court order by being at his victim’s residence. He was arrested and charged with violating a protective order.
Two days later, on Monday, July 18, officials said that the sheriff’s office was provided social media posts sent by Guy, again in violation of a valid court order “stating Guy could not contact or harass the victim.”
He was arrested again and charged with violating a protective order and harassment: a course of conduct.
On Tuesday, July 19, Guy was again in the eye of investigators after more social media posts targeting his victim were allegedly unearthed, and he allegedly attempted to contact his victim, also in violation of a valid court order.
Guy was arrested for the third time and charged with violating a protective order and harassment: a course of conduct.
Officials noted that earlier this month, Guy was also the suspect of an investigation by the sheriff's office after allegedly trespassing at Heavy Hitters Bar in Mechanicsville by entering the property despite a notice not to do so.
